History

Rockfish Kayak was established in the spring of 2002 as a trade name of Powell River Sea Kayak Ltd. The purpose of this new kayak shop was to service the needs of kayakers looking to rent and tour out of Lund.

Many kayakers choose Lund as their starting point for trips into Desolation Sound or to access nearby Savary Island or the Copeland Islands Marine Park.

In the past, Powell River Sea Kayak Ltd. offered a delivery service between our location on Okeover Inlet and Lund. Although this service is still available when needed, Rockfish Kayak now handles most renters needs.
