It’s been a busy and fun filled season so far here at Cabana and we wanted to share some updates and a quick note of what’s to come! Great food has always been a cornerstone of our kayaking tours and eco-resort packages, and as anyone that has worked behind the scenes at Powell River Sea Kayak can tell you it takes a lot of planning, preparation and creativity to bring each delicious meal to life. We are incredibly lucky to work with some amazing local suppliers helping us to create the perfect guest and culinary experience - a special shout-out to: @terra.nostra.farm @rivercitycoffee.bakery.eatery @ecossentials @townsitebrewing Chopping Block PR Alongside working with amazing local suppliers, we are endlessly grateful to work with so many incredible staff, guides and chefs and to share these experiences with you. A note for 2027: If a stay at Cabana Desolation is on your list for next summer, now is the time to start planning. Our 2027 dates, pricing and trip details will be released in the next few weeks. With just 10–12 guests on each departure, peak season trips will fill quickly. Guests who have expressed interest receive booking information before it’s shared with our wider audience.
